Puffkin The Dragon Foundation’s president, Steve J Bradbury, colleagues and friends who’ve visited several Asian, African and South American countries over the years have learnt to understand that there is a severe poverty line drawn across the world whereas unscrupulous governments, uncaring families and zero society are allowing desolate souls to wander our planet and live in the most squalor conditions on the outskirts of some of the major cities around the world. Okay, we can’t discount the good that the charities have done over the years, but unless they receive major cash injections from the public they’re only able to scratch the surface to eradicate such poverty.  

At Puffkin The Dragon Foundation, after a thorough investigation we realised that this problematic area is happening in many other countries around the globe, apart from the ones mentioned above, forcing kids as young as seven-to eight-year-olds, into the worst possible jobs, Inc. prostitution, drug and gun running, smuggling, human trafficking and even selling themselves into slavery to escape the life they live, etc, etc, etc, so fellow people throughout the world’ ask yourself, is this what we had these kids for in the first place, as they didn’t ask to be born if they knew that they were going to be living in a world of severe poverty, and as parents aren’t we the ones who should take immediate action right now, to eradicate such a travesty otherwise perhaps we don’t even deserve to be part of their lives! 

The list goes on and on until it becomes unmentionable what we tend to put our future progeny through, and as parents, governments and society we shrug all responsibility; not even recognising the problem until it becomes far too late to do anything about the situation as these unfortunate kids give up, get sick or even die. All for what we may ask ourselves, as let’s face it you, the parents are to blame, having them in the first place as let’s face it if the kids thought that they were going to face a life of uncertainty, if they had the choice do you think they would have wanted to be born into this unforgiving world of ours.  

We force them to work unsociable hours, in all weathers Inc, tempest conditions, tropical rain storms, hurricanes, driving blizzards, freezing temperatures, or under the hottest of sun, in soaring temperatures for very little reward. And what do we do about it! Absolutely nothing comes to mind, and even when we do just a little to help these unfortunate children it’s not enough as after they’ve been fed and watered, and given clean clothes to wear they return to the streets because that’s the life they’ve grown to know and accept through no fault of their own.  

Our immediate thoughts go out to the kids themselves as let’s face it we’re all humans at heart aren’t we! So how can we turn our backs on our so-called future progeny of a new world, and leave these unfortunate children of all ages, scrabbling on the streets to survive in a ruthless world just to make ends meet without lifting a single finger to help these unfortunate souls.  

God told us to help those who help themselves, but from lack of money, love or any kind of support how can such kids survive under such difficult conditions, where parents or guardians squander the little cash these kids earn, leaving their kids in torn and dirty clothing, and watching their bloodline die before their very eyes.   

Let’s face it only the strong survive and the weak will continue to give up and die, and okay to hear such words spoken make us understand that these unfortunate souls need our urgent help, yet limited resources, governmental resistance and zero society prevents from doing so, and even more so eradicate such devastating circumstances from happening in the first place.
